◎ Course Introduction

The Language Center offers the 2026 Summer English and Foreign Language Courses, including Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, TOEIC preparation, English grammar and writing, and English conversation. These courses are suitable for learners who wish to build a language foundation, improve daily communication skills, prepare for language proficiency tests, or strengthen workplace language abilities.

◎ Course Level Reference

1. Beginner Level: Focuses on basic pronunciation, phonics, essential vocabulary, daily expressions, and fundamental grammar, combined with situational dialogue practice. Suitable for learners with no prior experience or those who wish to rebuild a strong foundation.

2. Elementary Level: Builds upon the beginner level by introducing commonly used vocabulary, daily conversations, and basic grammar applications. Suitable for learners who have completed one term or already have basic knowledge.

◎ Registration Methods

• Online Registration: Please complete the 2026 Summer English and Foreign Language Courses Application Form.
• On-site Registration: You are welcome to register at the Language Center office.

◎ Payment Methods

• Cash Payment: Payment can be made in cash at the Language Center.
• Bank Transfer: After completing the transfer, please provide a transfer screenshot or the last 5 digits of your account number along with the transfer amount.
• For other payment methods, please contact the Language Center in advance for confirmation.
• Please complete payment within 14 days after registration.

◎ Tuition Discounts

• NT$500 discount for NUK faculty, staff, students, or their family members.
• NT$500 early-bird discount for those who complete registration and payment by June 26, 2026.
• NT$300 discount for those who show proof of joining the official LINE account.
• Group registration of 3 people: additional NT$100 discount per person.

◎ Class Location

National University of Kaohsiung campus.

◎ Classroom Arrangement

Classes are generally held in Language Center classrooms. If enrollment exceeds capacity, alternative classrooms on campus will be arranged.

◎ Important Notes

1. Tuition does not include textbook fees.
2. If enrollment is insufficient, the Language Center may extend the recruitment period or cancel the course with a full refund.
3. In case of force majeure, such as typhoons or other natural disasters, classes may be postponed or canceled.
4. Deferral or refund may be requested only in special circumstances, such as serious illness or military service, with supporting documents.
5. Refunds will be processed in accordance with NUK continuing education regulations.
6. No refunds will be issued after deferral or class transfer.
7. Registration will close early once the course is full. Waitlist applications may be submitted by email.
8. Auditing is generally not permitted.
9. The Language Center reserves the right to adjust course openings, schedules, class times, and instructors when necessary.
10. Course materials are protected by intellectual property rights. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
11. Smoking, drinking alcohol, and chewing betel nut are prohibited on campus.
12. Students who engage in inappropriate behavior that affects others may have their course participation terminated without refund.
