Chulalongkorn University Proficiency Test of Thai as a Foreign Language
In support of the New Southbound Policy, the National University of Kaohsiung (NUK) began co-organizing the Chulalongkorn University Proficiency Test of Thai as a Foreign Language (CU-TFL) in 2016.
CU-TFL is the only official Thai language proficiency test authorized by the Sirindhorn Thai Language Institute at Chulalongkorn University and administered by the Language Center of the National University of Kaohsiung.

CU-TFL is designed for non-native speakers of Thai.
CU-TFL test results are widely recognized by educational institutions and businesses in Thailand, making the test a valuable reference for academic study, employment, and the assessment of Thai language proficiency.
Test Quality and Credibility
To maintain the quality, fairness, and credibility of the test, examiners for each test section are appointed by the Sirindhorn Thai Language Institute at Chulalongkorn University.
